Wame is an ADIT Affiliate with the Chartered Institute of Taxation (UK), recognised as a leading Transfer Pricing and International Tax Practitioner across Africa. He has advised clients in Malawi, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Kenya, South Africa, the Asian region, the UK, the EU, and the USA.
His current engagements include serving as Country Tax and Legal Consultant for the World Bank's Digital Malawi Acceleration Project (DMAP). He previously acted as Country Tax Leader for the World Bank's assessment on the Taxation of the Digital Sector in Malawi — positioning him at the forefront of digital economy taxation in Africa.
Wame is a published author of tax books for Malawi and Uganda — highly recommended by Big 4 firms — and serves as a Tax News Correspondent for IBFD Netherlands. He is a founding member of Malawi's Tax Practitioners Association and a former tax attorney with LEXAfrica.
